Nov 8, 2019 We just returned from a trip with Gary Lowder and Smokin Hot to Tulum, Mexico! What a great trip with some fun music lovers! We toured the Chicken Itza (Myan ruins) and swam in a Cenote (deep hole in underground river). Beautiful weather and a fun trip. AGAIN, I would like to thank the DJ’s who are playing Runnin Blue. This song has made every major chart certainly too many to list as I would surely miss one or two. I would like to congratulate all the CBMA Nominees for this weekends show. All are surely deserving! Hope to see you guys down the road!!!
May 24, 2019 I would like to thank the fans and DJ’s for playing Runnin’ Blue. This week it has shown up on Pat Gwinn’s chart and moved up several more charts!
Tough news this week, I will no longer be Playing Sullivan’s Steak House in Raleigh every other Wednesday night. The restaurant chain was bought out and Corporate has decided to have music only Thursday Friday and Saturday. I had a run of about 15 years at Sullivan’s, we will have to see what happens there in the future.
I am Launching my Campaign for Beach Music’s Instrumentalist of the Year. More on that but do keep in mind I currently play in three beach music bands!!! Although my main band remains Steve Owen’s and Summertime, I am playing with The Holiday Band and Jim Quick and Coastline when I am available!!! I am Asking for YOUR VOTES!!!

May 2, 2019 I would like to thank all the fans who have voted for (and enjoyed) Runnin’ Blue my song released late last year. For 7 months Runnin’ Blue has been on many different charts and high as Number 1 on Eric Bowman’s chart for 99.1 the Wave, Thank you Eric and your listeners for keeping it alive. The last I checked it was #14 after spending about 10 weeks in the Top 10. This week it is number 24 on 94.9 The Wave and Mike Worley’s chart going into the SOS week!!! It has been as High as #5 on The Wave. It has also moved up to #16 on Mitch Harb’s chart. Thanks MITCH!!! Justin Rouse has had Runnin’ Blue as High as #3 in his top 5 and it stayed in the top 5 for several weeks, and Riptide Radio has it at #16 and climbing!!! DJ Ray Melton has had it on his smokin Chart for about 10 weeks. This has been a great experience having so much interest for this song and the entire Compilation CD called Carolina Moon Produced by My bandmate in Steve Owens and Summertime J.K. Loftin. J.K. deserves a lot of credit for this! Five out of the six songs have charted on various charts. March 26, 2019 What a whirlwind of media attention for Runnin’ Blue!!! So far it has been #1 #2 #3 #5 #8 #20 for several weeks on several charts. It has been in the top two on Eric Bowman’s chart on 99.1 The Wave and has been in the top 5 on Justin Rouse chart (syndicated on several Eastern North Carolina stations) and is currently #3. DJ Ray Melton has it at #8 on his Blistering 25 and Mitch Harb has it #20 on his chart. With all this attention I am humbled that this song has done so well. I hope to have another track out shortly with another celebrity player on it!! Stay Tuned and vote on the charts when you have nothing better to do!!!

February 14th HAPPY VALENTINES DAY. Big things are happening with Runnin Blue!! It reached #5 on 94.9 The Surf with Mike Worley, and has reached #11 on 99.1 The Wave with Eric Bowman!! and DJ Ray Melton has it #10 on his Blistering top 25.
On top of that more news coming on my next Original release. I will have more info on the celebrity musicians on this upcoming release soon!!!

11/12/2018 I would like to thank Tiny Shooter’s Camp Chemo fund raiser at Fat Harolds and everyone involved with Camp Chemo for allowing me to perform and help raise money for the kids. And a special thanks to Scott Beasley for his auctioneer work.
