Jimmy Weaver, Keyboard and Vocals, Jimmy started playing at 12 years old with High School musicians in Bro T Holla Band and many popular local bands. He recorded and album with The Blazers in 1978 that had rave reviews in Italy. His recording career spans decades recording with The Embers, The Back N Time band, The Castaways, The Pharmers, The Help, Doug Prescott Band and many others. Jimmy has performed many different styles from Beach, Rock, Country, to Blues, Soul, Jazz quartet, Swing, Corporate and Tribute Bands. He has also played solo for the last 20 years.The bands he has been a member of include The Embers from Raleigh, The Main Event Band of Greenville, The Castaways out of Henderson, Slowhand a Tribute to Eric Claptin, Back N Time Band and The West Street Band. Jimmy has opened or performed with Bo Diddly, George Thoroughgood and The Destroyers, earl Scruggs review, Arrogance, Nantucket, including sitting in with The Fantastic Shakers,Craig Woolard Band, Coastline and many others.
Robin Woodard, Guitar and Vocals, At age 14 Robin began playing professionally in country cover bands in bars. By age 18 he was playing all over the state and won several guitar player contests. His various styles include Country, Bluegrass, Rockabilly, Rock, Metal, Delta Blues and Jazz. “I have always played what I was asked, but always put my spin on it. Robin has worked with Grammy Producer John Custer who produced several songs Robin wrote for the rock band he formed in 1998 called Gyomantics. “It’s not every day you get to work with someone like John, he is the best… salt of the earth.”
Billy King Jr. Drums and Vocals, Billy started beating the drums at age 4. Taught by his father who played in Beach Bands in the late 1960’s. He started performing for the Senior Citizens in his hometown of Kings Mountain, NC at age 5. P;aging in bands his entire life, Billy played in a signed act (record company) in the mid 1990’s and covered 11 states in the eastern US. Since then he has performed in Europe and Asia. Known for his solid & precise playing Billy is in demand as one of the best drummers available. Billy has performed with many local bands including Buckwyld, ED Peters Band, A Tribute to Paul McCartney & Wings.
Former Drummer : Whitt Helton, Drums and Vocals, Whitt began playing drums at the age of 12 and has never stopped. He has played with Chris Hill in Jam Pain Society, Staircase Band, The Slackmates, Sound Express, and the EG Peter’s Band. Whitt has opened for several national artist including The Temptations, Percy Sledge, Taylor Dayne, Grayson Hughe, and Delbert McClinton. He plays many different styles from Jazz, Rock, Top 40, Country, and Rhythm and Blues.
